Mission
As the governing student body of Illinois Institute of Technology, SGA's role is to act as a liaison between the university's administration and its student body, and to serve as a forum to express student opinion. SGA provides opportunities for students to interact with members of the administration and formulate policy that impacts the university in the long term. SGA represents students and their opinions to improve academic and student life at Illinois Tech.

Mission
Our duty as a board is to allocate the student activity fund (SAF) to all the student organizations on our campus in a fair manner. Finance Board (FB) is also responsible for making sure that student organizations are using the money allocated to them in a manner that does not go against the SGA constitution and bylaws as well as the FB Policies & Procedures.

Membership Benefits
As a member of the Finance Board, you'll gain hands-on experience in budget management, policy enforcement, and fair fund allocation to student organizations. You'll play a key role in supporting campus life, promoting student involvement, and helping organizations navigate the proposal process.
