S.E.E.D.
Learn about ecological and environmental practices that support a transition into independent living.
Teaching students about safe and environmentally healthy practices as they navigate college is an essential step towards an eco-conscious and responsible adulthood.
S.E.E.D. is a organization for students to easily have access to volunteering opportunities. This helps students understand the basics of volunteering and providing aid to the surrounding community.
By integrating this education with energy-efficient habits and ecological stewardship, S.E.E.D. strives to improve students' living experience and equip them with skills that contribute to a more ecologically sustainable society, benefiting both the health of the students and the ecosystem.
The mission of S.E.E.D. is to educate students about ecological and environmental practices that support their transition into independent living, while also contributing to the community around and on campus through shared areas, volunteering opportunities, educational programs, and events. This objective will be achieved by partnering with local gardens or establishing our own community garden on campus. Through these gardens, we will distribute seeds to group members and cultivate plants that the community can harvest and cook, as well as flowers and other greens that support wildlife or enhance the campus's aesthetic appeal.
