About Us
Student Chapter for the National Association of Minority Landscape Architects. Founded in Los Angeles, California, in 2020, The National Association of Minority Landscape Architects (NAMLA) is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to increasing minority representation within landscape architecture, both in practice and academia. NAMLA seeks to achieve this by providing educational and career development support to minorities and addressing the structural racism that has historically limited the involvement of people of color in influential roles within the field. Our overarching aim is to enhance diversity at all levels through education, career development, and leadership initiatives.
