The Residence Hall Association (RHA) at Illinois Institute of Technology strives to enhance the on-campus living experience by fostering community, advocating for residents’ needs, and creating meaningful opportunities for leadership, personal growth, and engagement. Through collaboration with residents, housing staff, and campus partners, RHA builds an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, supported, and connected.
Members of RHA gain access to: Leadership Opportunities – Develop skills by serving on committees, leading events, and taking part in decision-making processes that affect residential life. Advocacy Voice – Represent the concerns and ideas of residents directly to housing administrators and campus leadership. Networking & Collaboration – Build connections with fellow students, campus staff, and other student leaders. Professional Development – Gain experience in event planning, public speaking, budgeting, and organizational management. Community Engagement – Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant residential culture through programs and initiatives. Recognition & Impact – Be acknowledged for your contributions and see your ideas directly improve campus life.
