About IBJC
Our mission, activities, and the students who make up our club.
The Interdisciplinary Biology Journal Club (IBJC) is a student organization at Illinois Tech for anyone interested in biology and scientific research.
Join us to read, present, and discuss scientific research papers from different fields of biology. Ask questions, share your ideas, and learn something new.
Our mission, activities, and the students who make up our club.
To create a scientific culture where students, faculty, and others can critically discuss, present, and analyze biology research papers.
Everybody is welcome, regardless of their major or research experience. All you need is an interest in biology and a willingness to learn.
We organize research paper discussions, workshops, and talks with professors and guest speakers. Students can ask questions, share ideas, and volunteer to present research they find interesting.
