Spring Break Reminder
Spring Break will take place from March 16 to March 21, and there will be no classes during this week. Take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the break.
Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Info Session – Open to ALL Students - $30,000 in Prizes
Attention Illinois Tech Bachelor’s and Master’s Students: Do you have a bold idea that could make a real difference in the world? Here’s your chance to bring it to life. The Grainger Computing Innovation Prize invites ALL Illinois Tech bachelor’s and master’s students from ANY major to use computing, data science, and AI for social good.
Over the fall semester, teams will compete for $30,000 in prizes:
Information Session
Tuesday, March 24 | 12:45–1:45 p.m. | MTCC Ballroom
Join us for the Information Session event to learn more, ask questions, connect with mentors, and meet potential teammates. Lunch will be provided for students who register in advance.
Who Can Join
Open to ALL Illinois Tech bachelor’s and master’s students in any discipline
Entries must include an element of computing
Teams of two to five students may register, but it must include one undergraduate student per team

Attend Kaplan Pitch Tank to See Business Strategy in Action!
Illinois Tech’s brightest student founders are taking the stage to compete for $50,000 in funding, pitching ventures that span AI tools, sustainable design, wellness brands, gaming platforms, urban solutions, and more! Experience business strategy unfolding in real time, vote for your favorite team, and network with investors, founders, and community leaders from firms like Techstars, Hyde Park Venture Partners, LongJump VC, and more. Join us April 24 at the Kaplan Institute and be sure to register in advance!
Walk-in Advising Hours: At the downtown campus, students can meet with an Academic Advisor during the times listed below. When you arrive, please "check in" at the reception desk by Room 401C. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and no appointments are taken or required.
