Academic Advising
Fall Course Schedule Published Monday, March 23
Plan ahead for your next semester by attending a group advising session for your program. These sessions will cover course selection, degree requirements, and helpful academic resources. See dates and details below:
Last Day to Withdraw for Full Semester Courses
If one of your classes isn’t going well, you have the option to “withdraw” by Monday, March 30. This deadline is for full-semester courses; 8-week MBA courses have different withdrawal dates. Withdrawing from a course means that:
You will still have to pay tuition in full for the course, even though you are no longer taking it
You will have a “W” on your transcript for the course. A “W” is grade-neutral, meaning it won’t impact your overall GPA.
If this is a required course for your program, you will have to take it during a future semester and achieve a passing grade
If you are considering withdrawing and are an international student, get in touch with your advisor before doing so. If you drop below the full-time student status (9 credits), you run the risk of visa problems.
Walk-in Advising Hours: At the downtown campus, students can meet with an Academic Advisor during the times listed below. When you arrive, please "check in" at the reception desk by Room 401C. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and no appointments are taken or required.
Week of March 22:
Tuesday, March 24, from 4-6 pm (Justine and Yumiko)
