Elevate: Opportunity for 1st & 2nd Year Stuart Undergrads

Dear 1st and 2nd year Illinois Tech Stuart Students, 

Stuart’s Career Management Center, in partnership with Mies Campus Career Services, invites you to join Elevate. This one-of-a-kind program guarantees you access to out-of-classroom experiences that make you exceptionally career-ready upon graduation. This opportunity is open to all current 1st year and returning 2nd year undergraduate students. If you are not in your 1st or 2nd year of undergraduate study, you may kindly disregard this message.  

Illinois Tech is the only university to offer Elevate. I encourage you to take the first step by logging into Campus Groups/312. This is not mandatory, but an opportunity for you to Opt-in.  

Elevate includes internships, co-ops, research projects, study away, and other opportunities that build your resume. These experiences empower you with future-focused, real-world skills such as teamwork, leadership, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and more. These are the types of skills that employers around the world seek in their future workforce!

Who can join?

• New 1st year undergraduate students 
• Returning 2nd year undergraduate students 
• Unfortunately transfer students are not eligible to join. 

What is the benefit: 
After signing the Terms and Conditions for Elevate, you can take advantage of the full range of Elevate benefits. These include: 

• Opportunity to claim your 1st or 2nd Year Elevate badge by the end of the spring semester 
• Access to great experiential learning and networking opportunities right away 
• Once the Terms and Conditions document is signed, you can start exploring Elevate opportunities and working toward your First and Second Year Elevate badge. 
• If you sign the Elevate Terms and Conditions and complete all the yearly requirements by your graduation date, you may be eligible for additional educational support if you don’t receive a job offer within 6 months after graduation.  

Although the new semester has only just begun, now is the time to participate in Elevate and begin taking the next step toward ELEVATING your future career. 

How do I join?

• Log into Campus Groups/312 
• Click SSO to access platform  
• For 1st year students at the top Search for Elevate Year 1 (First Year) 
  • Once in Year 1 cohort group, go to Forms, click Elevate terms and conditions form, carefully read through the document, accept, and sign 
• For 2nd year students at the top Search for Elevate Year 2 (Sophomores) 
  • Once in Year 2 cohort group, go to Forms, click Elevate Terms and Conditions form, carefully read through the document, accept, and sign 
• You are now in Elevate and can begin your experiences. 

When is the deadline?

• November 7, 2025. After this date, you are not able to opt-in.
