Members Benefits

Membership in Greek Council provides chapters with a unified voice within the Illinois Tech community, representation in matters concerning Fraternity and Sorority Life, and access to leadership and service opportunities. Active Chapters benefit from: Voting Power: Representation and voting rights on decisions that impact the Greek community. Event Participation: Access to Greek Council-sponsored events that promote community engagement, philanthropy, recruitment, and education. Leadership Development: Opportunities for members to hold Executive Board positions or serve on committees, enhancing leadership skills and campus involvement. Advocacy and Support: A direct line to the Office of Campus Life through the Greek Advisor, promoting collaboration and organizational growth. Greek council Judicial Board also governs and holds jurisdiction on Greek Issues and provides basis for a fair trial and reporting of incidents. Recognition: Formal standing as an Active Chapter, promoting legitimacy and visibility on campus. Networking: Collaboration with other Greek organizations is important for inter-chapter relationships and a sense of shared community.
