At Illinois Tech, we know students already have the drive and technical skills, but it’s our mission to bring the people, resources, and professional connections that help them get noticed. GDSC exists to bridge the gap between students and the tech world by creating mentorship spaces. We connect students to Googlers, local developers, and each other to help spark ideas, launch projects, and build careers.

GDSC at Illinois Tech offers members experience through workshops, coding sessions, and real-world projects that strengthen both skill and confidence. With Google Chicago just a few miles away, we take full advantage of our proximity by connecting students with local Googlers for mentorship, speaker events, and networking opportunities. Members also gain access to Google Cloud credits, exclusive developer tools, and collaborative events with other GDSC chapters.
