Industry Panel

The Food Science & Nutrition Club at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, is organizing an Industry Panel Discussion aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry. This event will feature professionals from diverse sectors of the food, nutrition, quality, safety, research, and related industries who will share insights into their professional journeys, career growth, challenges, and real-world experiences.
The panelists will discuss topics such as career pathways, industry expectations, skill development, workplace realities, and long-term professional growth. In addition to technical knowledge, the discussion will also focus on general life lessons, decision-making, work–life balance, and navigating career transitions.
The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session and networking opportunity, allowing students to directly engage with industry professionals, ask questions, seek guidance, and build meaningful professional connections.
This event is designed to benefit students from the Food Science and Nutrition department as well as students from other departments, providing valuable exposure to industry perspectives, professional development, and career planning.
