Mission
The Sustainability and ESG Club exists to cultivate a campus-wide culture of environmental responsibility, innovation, and awareness. Built on the foundations of education, collaboration, and action, the club seeks to empower students, faculty, and staff to adopt sustainable practices and engage in meaningful discussions on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues. Through hands-on projects, educational workshops, and community outreach, the organization aims to create lasting positive change both within the Illinois Tech community and beyond.

Membership Benefits
The Sustainability and ESG Club will create a unique platform for students, staff, and faculty - of all majors and disciplines - to engage with sustainability and ESG topics through interactive, impactful, and fun activities. By combining academic learning with practical application, we are committed to making IIT Chicago a hub of sustainability leadership. The club will benefit the IIT students by enhancing their environmental knowledge through workshops and expert-led discussions. Moreover, the club will foster networking opportunities with like-minded peers, faculty, and industry professionals, creating pathways for internships and future job prospects. As an established club on campus, members will be encouraged to take on leadership roles, which will help develop their organizational and leadership skills. Furthermore, the club will encourage interdisciplinary learning, allowing students from all backgrounds to collaborate on environmental concerns.
