33rd Street Productions is a joint organization between Illinois Tech and the VanderCook College of Music that aims to make theater more accessible to all students on campus. We believe that storytelling is an artform that can entertain, inspire connection, and incite deeper conversations, and we hope to bring that art to a campus that is primarily focused on STEM.

The purpose of this organization shall be to provide a chance for those interested in pursuing a legal career and to prepare those for trial etiquette. Illinois Tech as a whole does not have many resources when it comes to the ‘pre-law’ division. The career services doesn’t have any connections or plans for individuals who want to better their applications for law school. Mock Trial is a club that allows students to learn a case given by the American Mock Trial Association and prepare its contents for competitions (or “trials”). At these trials, students compete against other schools and get graded from juries. These juries aren’t ordinary people, but individuals within the legal profession (law students, lawyers, paralegals, etc).

The Photography Club will provide a creative and developmental space on campus for students interested in the art of photography. It will provide communal space and equipment for students to use for photography within the IIT Student Code of Conduct, as well as assist students in building skills in the field of photography through lessons and group sessions. The club will also serve to collaborate with other student organizations at IIT to take pictures at their events when requested and allow Photography Club members to gain experience and build their portfolio if they choose to volunteer for these collaborations. The Photography club will make the discipline of photography accessible to IIT students, while ensuring responsibility and safety of students while engaging in organized activities. The Photography Club will educate students on principles of art, such as composition, value, color balance, and focus, as well as the scientific aspects of photography like exposure, film photography, development, and printing. As the Elevate Underground space has been approved for digital media, this would be an ideal space to house a studio; however, it would be ideal to have separate locks for this space in order to protect organization equipment from damage and theft.

Gender and Sexuality on the Illinois Tech Campus. Prism is to facilitate social
awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community on IIT’s campus, assist campus entities to

LGBTQIA+ community, and to involve the IIT LGBTQIA+ community with the larger
Chicago and collegiate LGBTQIA+ community. LGBTQIA colloquially refers to the

The '+' at the end of the acronym exists to include all Gender and Sexuality Minorities

utilized by Prism to create the most inclusive community possible in our written
communications.
In order to achieve this, Prism’s events and activities are to focus on a three-pronged
