Mission The American Institute of Chemical Engineers at the Illinois Institute of Technology, as a non-profit student-run professional organization, does hereby dedicate itself to the development of programs for enriching Chemical Engineering students with the knowledge and ideas necessary for their future careers in the field of Engineering and Engineering Technology. The objectives of AIChE-IIT shall be (1) to promote the professional development of its members through its programs and its relations with other Student Chapters and with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and (2) to contribute to the development of Chemical Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology through activities involving faculty and student members.
Membership BenefitsMembers have the ability to network with peers and professionals in the industry. They can request certain industries for speakers to cater to their interests. Additionally, members can attend regional and national conferences hosted by AIChE and network with individuals at a greater level.
